Captain’s Landing wishes to provide our customers with the merchandise, product knowledge, and high level of service necessary for an enjoyable experience with us. Our standard store policies are listed within this section, but if you do not find the answers to your questions by all means, please contact us and let us know how we may assist you.
Order Processing
OUR GOAL IS TO PROCESS YOUR ORDER IN AS TIMELY A FASHION AS POSSIBLE
We will strive to process your order in a timely fashion. Delivery times are dependent upon product, inventory status and delivery method. Typically, orders will arrive to your home within 7-10 business days. Due to the unique and limited availability of our merchandise and sometimes unanticipated demand, certain items may be occasionally temporarily unavailable; in this case you will be notified as to when your order will become available and ready for shipment.
Please also realize that in some instances, orders will be "drop shipped" to you directly from our vendors. If this is the case, you may receive multiple shipments from us and from our vendors in order to complete your order. Your credit card will not be billed until we have confirmation that your order is available.
(Weekend orders will be processed within 48 hours starting on the following Monday)
SHIPPING BACKORDERS
We proudly boast excellent fill rates, but occasionally an item can be on backorder due to popularity and demand. If your order includes more than one item, we will make every effort to send available items together. In the event only some of the items in your order are available from our on-hand inventory, we reserve the right to ship you multiple packages from multiple vendor warehouses in order to fulfill your order. If this occurs and your order is shipped from multiple locations, you will not incur any additional freight charges.
In the unlikely event that we are unable to ship your order complete, we reserve the right to ship the items that we have and backorder the items which we were unable to ship. You will be notified via e-mail of the estimated delivery date for your backordered items. You will not be charged any additional freight for items that are backordered.

For your security, the billing name and address must match that of the credit card used for payment. We are only able to accept credit cards drawn on a U.S. bank account.
Returns & Exchanges
RETURNS & EXCHANGE POLICY
Captain’s Landing stands 100% behind the merchandise we sell, but if you are unsatisfied with any purchase, we offer a full refund or exchange on merchandise returned within 30 days from the purchase date with the original receipt. Only unaltered and unwashed items with tags attached in resalable condition will be considered for return or exchange.
Please Note:
- We reserve the right to determine if merchandise is deemed resalable.
- Tervis Tumbler's are made to order and therefore are not returnable. If there is an issue regarding a manufacturers defect or anything else that you feel is not right, Tervis Tumbler has a Lifetime Guarantee for all of their products.
Please allow up to 14 days for us to receive and process your return or exchange. Return shipping costs are non-refundable, unless the item is being returned as a result of our error (damaged, defective, wrong item/size, etc.). Please ship the returned/exchanged merchandise and a copy of the original receipt sent with your order along with a detailed explanation for the reason of the return and what it is you would like us to do, to the following address postage paid:

Captain’s Landing offers the following domestic shipping options:
Shipping methods are via US Postal Service, United Parcel Service and FedEx (most orders will ship via USPS)
USPS Priority Mail $5.95 - delivery within 2-3 business days (in stock merchandise) UPS Ground Service $5.95 - delivery within 5-7 business days (in stock merchandise)
* FedEx 2nd Day Delivery $21.95 - delivery within 2 business days (in stock merchandise)
Please note, the day following the ship day is considered the first day. Ex. item(s) ship on Friday (not counting
Sat and Sun) and arrives on Tuesday
* USPS and/or Fed Ex Standard Overnight Delivery $39.95 - delivery within 1 business day (excludes Sat and Sun)
* Domestic rates are good up to 5 lbs, otherwise we will contact you with an adjusted shipping rate.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING CHARGES (including Canada)
*USPS First Class Mail International: $18.95
- 10 to14 average business day delivery without delivery tracking and confirmation
- PLEASE NOTE: customer assumes the risk of a lost shipment with this type of delivery
* USPS Priority Mail International: $29.95 (RECOMMENDED)
- 6 to10 average business day delivery with delivery tracking and confirmation
